Megan Rose Hudson 19. Finding innovative and influential things that inspire me is what pushes my creativity in the fashion industry. I have a Btec national diploma in Fashion design which I studied at Chesterfield College and received three distinctions. Currently I am studying in my second year at Sheffield Hallam doing Fashion design at BA level. I have high ambitions in this industry so experimenting and connecting with other individuals is my priority. Blogging is something I do to inspire the way I work and to help broaden my knowledge.

Browsing competitor’s work today was a mix of emotions to say the least. Seeing other universities and the scale of extreme talent was nerve breaking however highly inspiring.

Myself and Lucy decided on the trending theme fruit as we felt that this was perfect for the summer months ahead. Exploring and developing our theme we was highly inspired by smashing the fruit and looking closer at the ‘Pips and Juice’.

As a team we decided to re shoot the shoulder piece as we felt the styling overpowered our product. This shoot was in a studio and styling was at a minimal. The coloured Gels and different lighting reflect off the Acrylic highlighting the edges.
